Safety Center
Swingby is built so a stranger can never find or target your family.
You’re anonymous unless you connect
People you haven't connected with can't see you, your children, or your location — at all. Parks show only an anonymous busyness level. There is no public directory to browse and no way to search for a specific child or family.
The “kids your age” hint is protected
The hint that kids around your kids' ages are at a park is only for verified parents, is deliberately fuzzy, and is withheld until enough families are present that it can never point to one child.
Verify you’re a parent
Verifying (Profile → Privacy) unlocks the age-peer hint and signals to the community that you're a real parent or caregiver. We're expanding verification over time.
Block, mute, and report
You can block someone (they disappear from your world), quietly mute them, or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. Reports go straight to our team for review, and we suspend accounts that break the rules.
Go quiet anytime
The “Go quiet” toggle hides all your check-ins and meet-ups from everyone until you turn it back on — useful any time you want to lie low.
Meeting in person
Meet in public places, bring a friend the first time, trust your instincts, and always supervise your children. Swingby helps you coordinate, but you know your family best.
Report a concern
Something urgent or someone behaving badly? Report them in the app, or email aicohen2011@gmail.com. In an emergency, contact your local authorities first.
